Behbud
Born out of the crisis, Behbud Association of Pakistan emerged in 1965, following the war, as a grassroots initiative supporting widows and orphans from a humble volunteer's garage. Over five decades, it evolved into Pakistan's premier women-led organisation, empowering hundreds of thousands of underprivileged women to: i) Preserve traditional crafts. ii) Achieve economic independence. From modest beginnings to national impact, Behbud continues to uplift women, fostering self-reliance and resilience."

For 55 years, the Behbud Association of Pakistan has empowered 1.6 million underprivileged women through economic initiatives, skill development, education, and healthcare. Recognizing Pakistan's alarming maternal and infant mortality rates, we're launching a State-of-the-Art 100-bed Maternal and Children Hospital in Rawalpindi. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, this hospital will provide comprehensive preventive, promotive, and curative services to address the critical need for maternal and child healthcare.
